Starting Art: Tips

Art can seem hard and intimidating but anyone can do it. Whether you have what seems like natural talent or not, you can learn and become amazing at art. To be good at anything you have to start right? Well yes, you do. As someone who has been doing some type of art my whole life, I know starting is the most important step. One of the things you have to remember when being a beginner, but in general as well, is to take the time to learn fundamentals.

Another key to being an artist is to remember there are so many different categories, and just because realism or animation might not be your thing, there are other types of art so do your research!

Lastly, this is a mistake many artists like myself make, is comparing yourself to other artists. There are so many artists out there who are more experienced and comparison would be incomparable.
